Bio: Kelli Bomer

Former President of PLMABTB and standing Legacy Board Member.

Kelli Bomer established the Police Lives Matter Austin Back the Badge non profit in January 2017. After a successful PLMABTN picnic was held in the fall of 2016, it was quickly realized the efforts of PLMABTB could have a far reaching impact.

Kelli has a strong sense of duty to the community and is a servant heart. She has served in Law Enforcement for 20 years, and currently serves as Patrol Lieutenant with the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Delta Squad. In addition Kelli supervises the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office Honor Guard Unit and Law Enforcement Bureau’s Field Training Program.

Kelli recognizes the need for support for law enforcement and their families when tragedy occurs. As the proud wife of an officer and military veteran, she fully understands the sacrifices made by officers and their families. She understands the needs after a traumatic event, and has witnessed the positive impact of support provided to the families of her brothers and sisters in blue. Kelli learned the importance of integrity and service to others from her own father who served as a police officer and a pastor.

Whenever Kelli can get away she enjoys being on the water or beach with her husband James. Kelli’s other escape is on line video gaming with her husband
who has built them both custom gaming consoles.
